The Merely Players partnered with others  to present a Readers' Theatre. We have  performed versions of books chosen by the community. Below are pictures of Merely Players Volunteers reading from Jon Hassler's "Grand Opening" and others. We were fortunate to perform Mr. Hassler's work prior to his passing, March 20, 2008.
There were other presentations at Lincoln Community Theatre by the Merely Players for the Public Library with  new book selections. These are not regularly scheduled events, but added to our season as allowed.
